Chairman’s opening speech

A warm welcome to Mr kiyoshi Fujita, the new chairman of Sumitomo Bakelite Singapore. Mr Fujita brings a broad range of experience and expertise, including leadership qualities
	Good morning everyone and thank you.It's a great honor to be here with you and I would like to give special thanks to Mr Chern for inviting me to present this address. Firstly, I am glad to be in Singapore and excited to be part of Sumitomo Bakelite Singapore, an important operation amongst the Sumitomo Bakelite Group of companies. Without doubt, one of the greatest challenges during my time here is to get
to know the different cultures and each of you better. Next is surely to have an indepth knowledge of the workings at SBS. In both areas, I seek your understanding and support; ultimately, I hope we can have a borderless working environment where communication is two-way. I want to see SBS become an even stronger player. Together with the MD and all of you, I look forward to expanding our business growth. And, equally important is a safe and healthy working environment. You have done well; let us continue this effort to do even better for those around us and ourselves. Thank you.
